On the 13th of March we were treated to a Landscape Talk from Tom
McCreesh, Associate Landscape Architect at LDA Design and Writtle graduate of
our MA Landscape Architecture.
He gave the students and in-depth and illuminating
talk about the work LDA has done within the Battersea Power Station development
and the Wembley Park area.
MA Landscape Architecture students and staff visited Futurebuild, London, in March. The talks were inspiring, and it was good to
see that climate emergency and green infrastructure with nature-based solutions
are present in every debate in built environment practices and studies.

Voting for the WUC Design Degree Show Student Art Competition 2023 concluded, and it was time to announce the winner. Members of the academic and support teams each chose a short list of their favourites, which were then aggregated to find the winning image…
Congratulations to Kayley Passingham with this stunning
winning image. Kayley is currently studying BA (Hons) Art and the Environment
(Yr3). The image will be used as the basis for all of the promotional graphics
produced for the upcoming WUC Design Degree Show 2023.
Special thanks also go to Caitlin Clarke and Claire
Jebbitt for their fantastic images.
