Landscape Blog - March 2021

Our new profile pic for March is from Masaki Kono, who is studying BA (Hons) Art and the Environment at Writtle.

Landscape Talk - Julia Baker

On the 8th we had an inspirational Landscape Talk from Julia Baker of Balfour Beatty about Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG).

It has great potential for nature by adding a necessity for measurable enhancement of biodiversity within future development.

WUC Design Degree Show Art Competition

Thanks to all the students who entered the WUC Design Degree Show Student Art Competition 2021. We really appreciate all your time and effort to share your fab images with us. Members of the Design staff each chose a short list of their favourites, which were then aggregated to find the winning image…

Congratulations to Kayley Passingham for winning with this unique photographic image. Kayley is currently studying BA (Hons) Art and the Environment (Yr1). The image will be used as the basis for all of the promotional graphics produced for the WUC Design Degree Show 2021.

A special commendation also goes to Anna Webster (LAGD) who had one particular image that was only just pipped by Kayley’s winning image. Many thanks to everyone else that took part; Claire Jebbitt, Grace Allman, James Stowe, Laura Cohen, Lizzie Cannon and Sean Tapner. It was great seeing your wonderful imagery.
