València Study Tour - Day 4

Day 4 started with a metro and tram ride to the beach where the students undertook a scale exercise considering the spaces to be found and their designated uses.
We explored the #landscape along esplanade, by the marina and towards the docks, and some managed to add more urban detail #drawing to their sketchbooks.
Our final evening in #València began with a soirée on the terrace followed by a piano performance by Grigory Sokolov, at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sophía, where we were treated to 6 encores!

Landscape Talk - Katie Le Chevalier

For our second Landscape Talk for semester B we welcomed Katie Le Chevalier from Planteria Group to Writtle to talk about Biophilic Design.

Our students' understanding of biophilia, its history, its usefulness and its benefits for health and wellbeing, was greatly enhanced. Katie's talk added a focus on interior spaces and how they can be enhanced with plants, adding an extra layer of understanding to complement the students' studies.
