WUC Design Degree Show...

There's not long to go until the Writtle University College Design Degree Show 2022.

We will be holding an in-person exhibition next month, which will feature 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate Art and the Environment students, and both undergraduate and postgraduate students of Landscape Architecture & Garden Design, and as always it will highlight the breadth of skill and creativity from our amazing students. You can find out more information about the exhibition at the Exhibition Portal.

After the popularity of the virtual exhibition for the last 2 years, we will also be publishing an exhibition website again this year, which will launch a while after.

Private View: Wednesday 11th May, 17:00-21:00
Public Opening: Thursday 12th – Sunday 15th May, 11:00-17:00
Virtual Exhibition: Wednesday 25th May, from 12:00 (BST/UTC+1)

Exhibition Portal: writtle.ac.uk/designshow2022

Each year we hold a student competition to find the image to be used for all promotional material, and this year it was won by Claire Jebbitt, BA (Hons) Art and the Environment. You can see Claire’s image incorporated into all #WUCshow2022 designs. Congratulations Claire!

Amy Flint Crochet Mandalas

Crochet mandalas have been attached to two trees across the campus to aid wellbeing and improve spaces. The project is by BSc (Hons) Landscape and Garden Design student Amy Flint, and was produced for the Cross Disciplinary module.
