A few weeks back, on a rather chilly #winter day, our 2nd
year Landscape Architecture and Garden Design students visited a housing
development in St. Luke’s Park, Runwell, #Essex, with the aim to produce a
masterplan and propose a series of linear parks.
The students were shown around by Lauren Hull, Estates Manager for The Land Trust, and graduate of Writtle’s BSc (Hons) Landscape and Garden Design course.
While evaluating the site they explored an on-site sculpture, designed by john Merrill
Over the last few weeks our students have been working on
their projects on water sensitive design and pocket parks for the new
development and last week they presented their completed masterplans designs to the client, Lauren Hull from The Land Trust.
