The Landscape Partnership is looking for landscape architects

The Landscape Partnership is an established practice of Landscape Architects, Urban Designers, Ecologists, Environmental Planners, Arboriculturists and Graphic Designers. We have a team of 40 people working from our four UK locations and currently have a vacancy in Bedford.

The Bedford office has a varied portfolio of landscape planning and landscape design projects, including green infrastructure strategies, Environmental Impact Assessment’s, landscape character assessments, landscape capacity studies, renewable energy, education, recreation, commercial, residential, and major

infrastructure schemes. Projects are undertaken from feasibility to implementation; many require representation at public inquiry. The office is close to the town centre and the Victorian gardens along the embankment of the River Great Ouse, and is a short walk from the Midland Mainline railway station (London 40 mins).

We offer the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of project types and to develop a broad skill base. The position requires close working with our design and environmental teams, playing important supporting roles in project delivery within a friendly and supportive working environment.

 

Year-Out Student / Landscape Assistant (BA /BSc in Landscape Architecture or equivalent)

We are offering a year-out placement to a talented and motivated student who wishes to be involved in a variety of projects, working at a range of scales from strategic and landscape planning to detail design. There will be opportunities to work alongside colleagues in other disciplines, including assisting with ecological fieldwork, building on technical skills and gaining experience in a broad spectrum of design and environmental planning projects.

 

The appointment will commence in summer 2017. Applicants should have completed formal training at a Landscape Institute accredited course or equivalent.
